    As RaiseUp Families celebrates its 31st year of offering a HandUp to families living on the edge of homelessness in Houston, we are hosting our first-ever BINGO fundraiser to enhance programs offered to our 65 participant families this year.

    RaiseUp Families has consistently demonstrated that our model of care effectively lifts families out of poverty and sets them on a path to self-sufficiency. Together, we can forever transform the lives of hardworking parents who dream of providing their children with a brighter future.

    Our generous funding partner Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church has offered their beautiful fellowship hall to host this event.  Join us for Fajitas, fun, and the opportunity to win ten incredible gift packages associated with our planned ten rounds of BINGO.

    Bingo Bash Tables

    Tables of ten guests for the RUF BINGO Bash. Each table includes a delicious Fajita dinner, dessert, and drinks. We will also include 10 tickets for the 10 rounds of BINGO for each table guest. 10 raffle tickets (one for each guest) will also be provided. The names of table hosts will be displayed on the big screen at the event.

RaiseUp Families stabilizes parents from vulnerable communities who face unexpected financial crises so their children can focus on their education, giving them the opportunity for a better life. These families live paycheck to paycheck and have fallen behind in rent due to an unexpected financial crisis. 
 
Our mission is to stabilize families in their homes before an eviction occurs, then provide them with skills and resources to become self-sufficient so their children can focus on their education, giving them the opportunity for a better life. Established in 1994 as Westside Homeless Prevention (and later known as Westside Homeless Partnership), RUF’s founders completed 2 years of research on how best to create life-long stability.
